Team History
Tracing our roots back to the late 1970’s, Capitol Velo has been a fixture in Oregon racing for three decades. Our more than 50 team members living in and around Salem can be found riding and racing year-round in Oregon and Southwest Washington. This past year, the team competed at more than 40 events, with racers finishing on the podium an amazing 28 times. The team also has a strong commitment to the community; members volunteer with local bike-to-school and bike safety training programs and also promote a local road race each year.
